Peaceful Heart: Unwind & Enjoy

Kamon [กมล] means "Heart" and chat [ฉัตร] is the Thai "holy" tiered umbrella which is usually used for ritual processions. When both combined into Kamonchat it means “Peaceful Heart”

We'd like to think of ourselves as a luxury villa with a difference; providing boutique hotel benchmarked service, the magic of its location - where the setting inspires, where the design respects and enhances the surroundings, and where there is genuine care for service, comfort, luxury, style, and attention to detail.

Residing at The Kamonchat you can enjoy privacy & peace to relax, unwind, enjoy a hassle-free stay and create unforgettable memories.

Exclusively Yours

A 5-minute drive away from the crystal clear turquoise waters of Kamala beach, surrounded by lush green native Thai foliage, The Kamonchat is nestled in the secluded hills of Kamala.

Cleverly designed by renowned up-and-coming South African architect Anthony Van Blerk, to maximise privacy, L-shape villa ingeniously follows the slope it was built on with 3 spacious levels consisting of 7 bedrooms, a TV room, and gym.

The Kamonchat features a state-of-the-art minimalist design, vast ceilings, a spacious open-plan living & dining area, serene treetop views, a 12m saltwater infinity pool, individually styled bedrooms, extravagant over-sized art, integrated indoor and outdoor areas, spacious ensuite bathrooms with German-imported Grohe showerheads, imported mattresses, 4-star quality hotel bed linen, towels, and bathrobes.

The nature living experience is further enhanced by floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors.  Your bedroom can be as open or closed as you want *. The rooms are all air-conditioned but the doors can also be left open to enjoy your sleep with the clean air and a gentle breeze of your ceiling fan.

Note: 4 out of the 7 bedrooms are equipped with sliding doors!

Kamala: The Quieter Life

The village of Kamala [Sanskrit for lotus] is only a 40-minute drive from Phuket International Airport. Relatively underdeveloped that many other west coast villages it boasts more of a Thai village atmosphere providing a haven for those who prefer the quieter life.

Whilst it doesn’t attract tourists in the same numbers as other places on Phuket, it has a handful of small & tasty restaurants, the newly opened Café Del Mar beach club and a big supermarket with an array of imported goods.
The Kamonchat is only a 5-minute drive away from the crystal clear turquoise waters of Kamala Beach, and although the villa offers the utmost solitude and tranquility [being the perfect hideaway], the famous Patong nightlife and entertainment options are only a 20-minute drive away.
